Since today is a hot take day, I think a lot of people try to make Minecraft an rpg more than a sandbox game when they say "Minecraft would be better if it had x."

Don't get me wrong. There's some things I would love to see Minecraft add, but I don't think mods like Twilight Forest are what Minecraft should be.

Also goes without saying I don't think Twilight Forest is bad. I haven't played it myself, but it looks cool.

Update 6: added Red Sand Fulgurite Ore, Changed Fulgurite Ore to Sand Fulgurite Ore, and gave them sand sounds instead of amythst sounds like the raw fulgurite block and the fulgurite block

Minecraft Mod idea because GOD I’ve had this idea since forever and I needed to put it on paper.

I have always been a sucker for ambience in Minecraft, but almost every weather mod I find is more focused on the survival aspect of it so, for the longest time I’ve thought about what a more ambient form of weather mod would be like.

I would absolutely love to make this into an actual mod myself, but my 0 experience in coding and modding is unfortunately hindering that idea. >_> Though if there’s anyone out there with modding experience that actually wants to help make this a thing, I’d be more than happy to help out in any way I can with it.

sorry I died for a bit (Khor's Harvest Mod)

let me ramble a little bit about the crops of the harvest mod. I plan to have over 100 crops, and here are 9 at the moment. Strawberry, Tomato, Radish, Cranberries, Raspberry, Rhubarb, Red Chili, Cloudberry and Redcurrant

the missing textures are for seed bags, which i will be doing in bulk once the majority of crops are finished. they will be used to cultivate rarer crops / crop varieties, a feature planned for a future update. for now, they will be mostly for storage of seeds (9 seeds make 1 seed bag, which can be crafted back into seeds.)

my main goal is to make a farming mod which has the depth and detail not really seen before. it will have many foods and recipes from across the world (spanakopita will be involved. my friend wants it in the mod, thus it will be in the mod. those are the rules.) there will also be vanilla-style decorations and all cookware/the like will be placeable as decorations. once I am better with java, I might even make some proper workstations such as a flour mill.

if you have any crops, or recipes, or anything of the sort you'd like in a mod like this, don't hesitate to suggest.
